Eagles atleast have recent playoff success spanning the past ten years. Lost the Super Bowl but atleast been there and numerous NFC championships and been running the division for the most part since Reid era began and that was 99.

Cowboys should be on the list. Every year they talk big shyt and live off the mid 90s. They have literally done nothing. There are more sentences in this paragraph than cowboy playoff wins in the past 18 years.

Hawks won in '58

The lakers = celtics; rockets = pistons = sixers. I was talking about tiers of success and the knicks aren't on any of their levels. Spurs are somewhere between celtics and rockets/pistons/sixers

Lakers > Celtics. Lakers dominance is spread out. Celtics mostly dominated in the '60s. They have one championship in 28 years.

:patrice:

whole nfc east should be on there. giants are feast or famine, skins and cowboys are mirrors of each other, and eagles are little brothers that snatch division titles when everyone else sucks and fade away hard as soon as another team gets it together

The English National Soocer team hands down. Haven't won a World Cup since 1966, haven't been to a World Cup semi final since 1990, never won a Euro, and no Englishman has ever won a FIFA World Player of the Year award yet the English media acts like England is some sort of footballing powerhouse.
i've never met an english person that actually thinks this tho

England fans are usually honest about the team. It's the media that creates the perception that they are great, making them an ideal candidate for this thread. I've met alot of casual soccer fans who perceive them to be great because of this.

Throw the Washington Redskins on that list and they'd get my vote.

Absolutely DIEHARD fans who think their team is among the elite, storied franchises in the league. Haven't won the ship since 91. Only 3 titles overall.
My gawd this. Didn't have a clue how unbearable these nikkas were until I moved here. And that playoff appearance 2 seasons ago had me wanting to fight everyone. Seen nikkas rockin Heayh Shuler & Ricky Ervins jersey the week of the game. They legit swore they had a chance to win the super bowl
