Pretty much garbage after that for 5 years. You'd think after an Oscar win, he would be in top tier movies. I checked out Sea of Trees and Serenity recently, cot damn those were horrible

I think he just likes doing off beat stuff. He can still act he just doesn't pick a lot of commercially viable stuff. For example, he turned down being Ego in GotG Vol. 2 so he could be the man in black in the Dark Tower movie.
