I think the thing is that WWE realized they accidentally struck gold by paring these two close to devors jobbers together and with their charisma made them into a hall of fame money making team that was STILL winning the tag team championships in 2014

Problem is that WWE could never recreate that luck with the random ass tag teams so we are stuck with the horrible memories of the teams mentioned int he first post

What's crazy is that the fact they treat the tag team division like an afterthought especially when talents like Kronik fall in their laps. If they'd just use the talent they have the tag division would be thriving longterm and possibly as important than the WWE Title.

First step is getting rid of those copper belts asap.

Gymini. Man I don't even remember this. Truly forgettable.:ehh:

Vince probably thought he struck gold with two Goldbergs.:mjlol:

Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak had potential to me. They needed a good manager to compensate for how green they were at the time.:yeshrug:

Gymini were basically Velocity mainstays :pachaha:and when they were on Smackdown, it was mostly insignificant stuff.

And agreed about Cade/Jindrak. A manager would have helped greatly, cause they were decent workers, but just didn't have the charisma to connect.

Completely agree. Those copper belts are trash and look so low-rent. Not sure how those were approved, but they need to go :camby:.

Some other thrown together teams people may or may not have forgotten about.

Charlie Haas, even with winning the tag titles again and having Jackie Gayda by his side, he really suffered post-WGTT. Plus, just look at this damn team :mjlol:. There's always a place for comedy, but they had to know this was going nowhere

Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly weren't doing much around this time, so teaming them made sense sort of as two vets. But again, you knew they weren't going anywhere (and shouldn't anyway), but them having a finisher called the GHB (Gunn-Holly Bomb) was :pachaha::childplease:

Once again, two vets that weren't doing much so they just put them together based on Viscera in his largest love machine gimmick, and Val Venis back in his porn gimmick, except supposedly he wasn't a performer anymore, but a director (tee hee)

I thought Rene Dupree had a lot of potential after La Resistance, and should have done way more than he did. Dude was super young and had the look that Vince wanted, and was basic in the ring with enough flair to stand out. Kenzo Suzuki an the other hand was trash from day one. I don't know why the WWE coveted him so much, with them beforehand wanting to shoot him up to the main event ranks (:martin::scust:). Thankfully that didn't happen, cause he was sorry as shyt in the ring, like a quicker Giant Gonzalez. I don't even know what led to Dupree and Kenzo teaming together, but they did, and beat Paul London and Billy Kidman for the tag titles. They stood out, but ehhhhhhhhh.....

That Mexicools gimmick was so fukking offensive. I get that the WWE is incapable of not being racist but if you were going to put those three wrestlers in a team why not let them be lowrider driving vatos since that is what they actually were outside of the ring instead of making them lawnmower riding landscapers whining about cleaning people's toilets.
