Neither, I realized a while back that impulses to push back against apologizing or asking for help were lashing outs of the ego.

Not because I'm stubborn but because I'm resourceful. I do so much shyt for myself whether at work or outside every once and again I'll let someone know what I'm doing and they say "why didn't you just ask?"

Asking for help. I've been on the belief that a weak man can never admit they're wrong and apologize while a strong one acknowledges that everyone makes mistakes, recognizes when they've made one, and makes amends accordingly.

Yea, I got no problem apologizing or admitting when I’m wrong. I realized long ago, that I’m not always right and when you do wrong, you apologize. Asking for help, though. That sh*t is hard; especially when you’ve been propped up to be the golden one/child. It’s like you’re not supposed to need help. That’s why I’m appreciative for my parents, and the boys I call friends. They have helped when I needed, even though it can be hard to ask
