Earlier this year I started to take some extra steps in being healthy ... I was never lazy ... I've always been active and a hard worker ... So contrary to popular opinion not all big are lazy ... But I did start walking just to be walking more and I became vegetarian ... Its a struggle though

If you are a vegetarian, I strongly suggest taking a protein shake at least once a day. Being a vegetarian makes it harder to maintain muscle which makes it harder to maintain a good shape.

Muscle is your friend, focus on building muscle and the weight loss will happen naturally.

Progress! Good, The Coli should be about helping each other, not tearing each other down.

I was flabbynsick for about a year after injuries forced me to quit college football (I wasn't good anyway)... so I know the feeling (gain 70lbs in 7 months brehs :flabbynsick:)

But don't worry fam, I got you:salute:

Diet

-If you eat meat, stop eating anything that is not turkey or fish. You can go back to pork and beef when you hit your target weight.
-Give up Soda, fruit based juice and magaritas for at least 6 days a week. If your drink has over 100 calories... bushes.
-Try to replace 1 meal a day with juicing. Kale, Spinach, carrots, tomatoes, green apples ( for taste), etc. And put a little protein powder in it.
-Try to eat 5 or more times a day. This may seem backwards, but eating more often helps you lose weight. Eating many small meals > 1 big meal for weightloss
-No snacks :birdman:

Sleep

-Sleep more...
-Keep sleeping
-You woke? Go back to sleep. You aint got 8 hours yet :birdman:

Workout Plan

Honestly... I cannot give you a workout plan without seeing a picture of you. I can give you some basics but it would just be speculation.

But if you need more advice PM me. :obama:

I put in my two week notice at my current job so I'm in a lame duck period before I move on to my next step in my career so.... I have waaaay too much time on my hands.

I watch netflix and read The Coli... 80% of the time i'm at work :ohlawd:

I don't eat meat any more ... Ineats all the veggies though ... Them potatoes gone mess me up in the game though ... I don't like sodas and I mix everything I drink with water if I'm not drinking just water ... I think what will mess me up is that indont eat or sleep right ... I do some slight exersic but I'm not like a gym rat ... I know it's a process ... But for the sake of my health I'm willing to put in the work ... Good look fam :salute:

Honestly, you already off to a good start.

Most people drink their calories anyway. Its much harder to change what you drink than what you eat believe it or not.

Try to split your workouts up. Don't try to do too much at once. For instance, try to do 5-10 minutes in the morning when you wake up b4 you shower.
And then when you come home from work, maybe a quick 25-35 minute gym session.
If you spend 40minutes+ at the gym, you are doing too much. I don't even spend that long lifting.

But you have the right attitude, and you have the right foundation. You know what you need to do, you got this :salute:

I just wish fat chicks weren't so confident so that they'd workout and give us slim lovers more options. Its like damn, when the majority are overweight, and half the slim ones are thots, you gotta be a lucky mofo to land a decent fit chick to settle down with

No you not.

Not trying to tell you what to do but the bolded is wrong.

IF you going to lose weight, the goal is to get/be healthy, so that you feel better in your body. Add days to your life!

I completely disagree. I think health can force people to lose weight, but I don't believe it's the easiest and most compelling reason for losing it. I've known a few people (my mother included) who got diagnosed with high-blood pressure, diabetes, and whatever else and still failed to change their habits.

The goal is whatever you make it to be.

I also know what works for me personally and it has little to do with improving my "health." I have a vision of who I want to be and what I want to do in life and being in good shape is a crucial (no pun) part of that vision. I believe that having a vision is much more important than trying to be "healthy." Obviously health is a part of that vision, but I don't believe it's a huge part.

Call it superficial, or vain, or whatever else, just as long as I succeed.

Hey girl, you don't need to justify yourself or your desire and drive to succeed to anyone. Just do your thing and make it happen. :salute:

I might PM you and we'll start a friendly competition and hold each other accountable.
