People saying either one of these receivers is clearly better than the other is either a hater, a homer, or a follower. Dez is a freak athletically, but he's not as skilled a receiver as Nicks.... plus Nicks just has a god given advantage with those huge hands. People using the fact the Dez couldn't even remember his routes as a reason why he's better (since he still put up good numbers) are delusional. Being able to remember and run routes is a part of being a receiver. Plus... As suspect as Tony Romo is, he is a slinger. He's putting the ball in the air. Eli Manning, not so much. Especially earlier in Nicks' career. The Giants running game was utilized much more than Cowboys. The Giants had Brandon Jacobs to punch in Touchdowns... who did the Cowboys have?
The only reason Nicks isn't widely revered the way Dez is, is because the nikka is always injured. But that is also factored in when determining how good a WR is. If you can't stay on the field, you can't prove yourself
