Matches get cancelled all the time. Guys get injured, or the scheduling doesn't work out. But there are cases where matches change for no apparent reason other than Vince just didn't want to do it. What WrestleMania matches should have happened?

For me, my top choice will always be The Rock vs. Cena vs. Punk at WrestleMania 29. There's no reason why this match shouldn't have happened. Nobody wanted a Rock/Cena rematch and for some reason, it had to be for the title. Why not put Punk in there? That's a match that only needed to happen once, and it would give Punk the main event he always wanted.
I always hated how once Vince got his mind set on a matchup then that's what you are getting no matter what.

Adding Punk, going on 400+ days with the belt, to Rock/Cena would've made it much more interesting, and they still could've had Cena get his win back over Rock in that match. Rock vs Cena had a very good buildup for Mania 27 and 28, but the 29 build felt more flat and Punk would've made things interesting.

On the other hand, Punk turned out to be a great opponent for Taker and the show was very successful.

Are these all matches that were planned and scrapped or just matches y'all wanted to happen, cause some of these I don't recall ever even being an idea or suggested on TV.

Hogan/Flair was the one that was definitely supposed to go down... the storyline was there for months, it was being hyped all the way until the Rumble when they started with the Hogan/Sid fallout.

I believe Shawn Michaels come back match was originally planned for Mania 17 against HHH.

Shawn Vs. Eddie G. Would have been absolutely amazing. Probably a five stay classic. Unfortunately Eddie passed away...

Ronda and Becky should’ve been one on one.

They had a palpable chemistry as characters

Charlotte didn’t need to be in that match.
I'm still baffled on how Vince just didn't try to explain why he put Charlotte in that match....

Vince: fukk you Becky... you ain't the man.... I'M THE MAN! So I'm putting in the match... Charlotte Flair!:ehh:

Becky Lynch: :what:

Ronda Rousey: :pacspit:

HHH & Stephanie: :martin::dahell:

Me Watching At Home: :beli:

Charlotte: :umad:

Vince: Charlotte Flair! :wow:
