At 60k a year, she's not gonna pay that loan off for atleast 15 years. Maybe even more considering her living in nyc.

You know she gonna want to have that fly wedding to stunt on bytches on the Gram.

And travel so she can stunt on the Gram.

She will be making the min payments on that debt.

Probably will carry that debt until she dies.

$190+k in grad plus loans to go to a toilet tier law school. On top of that she didn't do everything necessary to secure a high paying job. Ouch!

Moral of the story is to not go to law school if you aren't smart enough to make more than $60k after borrowing $250k.

 thats what u took out of that story/?
moral of the story is, unless ur tuition is being paid off for you, u got no business taking out anything over 40grand for tuition. this is common sense. take ur ass to a community college and master whatever the fucck u study.

the majority in GradPLUS loans at that

She should leverage her state job to get a job outside of NY to lower living expenses

*then consolidate loans to a lower interest
*no car note if possible, public transport or a beater
*cut up her credit cards

Lol, might be the only way

This makes me happy that I lived at home after undergrad and paid off my student loans. Then continued to live at home to save for grad school. I finished grad school this month and ONLY took out 5,000 because I was running short my last semester.

Now I'm lookin for a chick with low loans. I can't even fukk with a chick with 100k in debt. I wouldn't do it so I DAMN SURE ain't paying off someone else's debt

Nope. 5-8 percent interest compounded daily means that she will never pay that off only making 60k. Doesn't matter where she lives.

Very rough estimate here. 5 percent that's roughly $445,000 over 10 years. $44,500 per year is what she would have to pay just get it paid off in 10 years.
