the majority in GradPLUS loans at that

She should leverage her state job to get a job outside of NY to lower living expenses

*then consolidate loans to a lower interest
*no car note if possible, public transport or a beater
*cut up her credit cards

Lol, might be the only way

What if she wants to live the lifestyle of a young, "success", lawyer.

She is fukked, her loans alone should make her untouchable to men.

 thats what u took out of that story/?
moral of the story is, unless ur tuition is being paid off for you, u got no business taking out anything over 40grand for tuition. this is common sense. take ur ass to a community college and master whatever the fucck u study.

I took it out of her LinkedIn. Salaries of state employees is public knowledge.

To make matters worse she had about $15k of loans after undergrad, then she went to an overpriced mediocre law school.

Student loans aren't that bad if your income potential is high. I know people with way more debt than her but they are also making 5 to 10 times her salary. I have the same amount of loans as her but my salary is way higher and my employer is paying more than half of my loans.

Typically only Doctors have those kind of student loans that are justifiable. I don't even know if science phd's are that justifiable unless you're doing some shyt that has some real potential for the future like machine learning or something.

This shyt scary af cuz I'm going to law school in the fall :mjcry:

If she working in the public sector they have loan forgiveness /LRAP programs that she NEEDS to take advantage of because it looks like she will never pay that debt off :mjcry:

Touro is a garbage school idk if they are even ranked

If she wanted to do public sector in the NYC area she should have gone to Rutgers or St. John's or Dozo

WAY better schools

Back when I worked in banking this woman came in looking for a loan, I believe a car loan. I pulled her credit report and she had nearly 200k in student debt. Casually speaking I asked her what schools she went to and it was some for-proift school nonsense. She was working at another bank making not much more than I was at the time (and I didn't make much at all):snoop:.

People really shouldn't do this to themselves. If you're going to get in that much debt, you better be damn sure you have great prospects for a high paying career.
