Why are modern day women so devoid of personality?

I'm not the type to usually make women bashing threads, but this is something I've really noticed lately.

I don't know if the onslaught of social media and IG thots has made all women aspire to be the same kind of person, but lately, young chicks are deadass all the same.

No actual goals or aspirations. No hobbies, no interests. Free time isn't filled with doing a favorite activity of substance like drawing or something but is instead spent on Snapchat bullshytting. Very few life skills. The only things that matter to them is how their face looks, how their body looks, and how the men in their life look. The only things they know how to talk about is chatty patty bs, and other peoples' looks ("so and so is sooooooo fine", "so and so is ugly af.") Just extremely vain people. Can't hold intelligent conversation, entire pop culture knowledge/sense of humor is a regurgitation of social media memes, on their phone at all times.

Like wtf is good brehs? nikkas feeling like they have deja vu everytime they meet a new chick.

I've noticed some of that too. It's usually a certain age range. What age range are you talking about?
A noticable number of males of a certain age range are like that too.
Lets not pretend that there aren't males discussing and lusting after those instagram wome that you're talking about. & who do you think is giving them all of those followers on twitter? Both men and women.
& A lot of you guys are all of the same in your approach, maybe that's why some women won't let you get to know them well.
Maybe social media is their hobby? Sports can be a hobby, video games can be a hobby, collecting coins or comics can be one as well. I don't consider any of those "activities of substance"
I wanted to add that make up, fashion and hair can be a hobby just like liking sports or collecting things

I have also noticed that when some people talk about certain things outside of gossip, they say things that have been said on twitter. Like if feminism, blacklivesmatter stuff or polotics come up, they usually all have the same things to say. They can never really elaborate b/c they don't really know what they're talking about.Those topics were usually trending topics. It's like outside of trending topics, people don't know what's going on. But then again, if something in the news is really important or a big story, it becomes a trending topic, right? & I feel like lots of people fake care about it b/c others do. Just to participate in the trending topic. Then the next week sometimes month, they move on and forget about it.

I'm surrounded by foreigners at school. Lots of them are Americanized though and behave similar to the way op described, especially if they really want to fit in.

As someone who is 2 semesters from having a B.Sc. in ChemE, you're wrong. I don't know what is it with some brehs acting like STEM is so difficult that being able to get through it is indicative of great intellect.

This! My sister is in it. I'm smarter than her, but she works harder than me at school. You just have to be willing to do the work. Willing to study, listen, read, pay attention in class, complete all assignments on time, and go get extra help if you need it. Extra years of school too. I don't want to do all of that.

It's difficult for me to pay attention to things I'm not interested in. I'm a daydreamer, mind wanderer, a zone outer lol That and I don't like school.

Chess at Barnes and Noble on Sundays, I know a chick that creates Dungeons and Dragons scenarios, movies, shots at the bar, I know chicks that do cave exploring, traveling, art and wine tastings, spoken word, anime conventions, book clubs, dog sitting, fanfiction...

...but ur not there. So why aren't u meeting these chicks. Expand ur life, expand ur circle.

I actually rarely ever approach women.

I'm one of those weird people who has tremendous social skills (these alone have often helped me get jobs) but usually refuses to speak until spoken to. Obviously that rule changes around family and close friends.

Point being, they approach me and I usually just build up a roster of potential candidates then start to narrow it down.
