A lot of time it's an excuse not to do anything real. There are few people that have the talent, financial backing, 'street credit' for all the hood rappers, and time to become really successful. I respect and salute nikkas that are trying to reach their dreams, but it's also smart to have a backup plan just in case you can't build on that. You can't apply at a job after 10 years of trying to get on, telling these nikkas that you were an aspiring artist.

. It's actually really sad and disappointing that so many young black males want to be rappers & ball players. 
I respect that. But there's also something to be said about understanding we can't have everything we want or do everything we want in life. If you're not going to make it in the "rap game" do something else and stop using your dream as an excuse to be lazy.
