Think the premise is fallacious, just off the strength of I dont think it's a fact that young thug is being persecuted in the least bit...his gay trolling antics are definitely a topic of controversy and much speculation, and there's been some very predictable reactions to it ...but that's clearly the entire point, is achieving the desired the effect, and all things considered has been a net positive for his career...the difference in how they're celebrated is because prince is a living legend and wildly accepted as one of the greatest artists of modern times...young thug is an up and coming mixtape rapper who hasn't even released a proper debut album and might not even be around a year or 2 from now....

i will say that people are fooling themselves into thinking there's some kind of world of difference between their actual androgynous " is he homo or not" schticks in and of themselves though...bout the only real difference is young thug's is conflated with modern day "gangsta rap" imagery...i think that people go so hard with the" prince ain't gay because he's been very deliberately and publicly linked to a bunch of famous chicks, despite spending the last 30 years dressing in drag...and being 50plus years old, childless..and still coming off as an aging werido homo" stuff while simultaneously acting like male heterosexuality is on the verge of extinciton because rappers started wearing tight pants, is fukking hilarious though
