because he's a true mastermind when it comes to music. You can't compare the two.

It was his first album
Does anyone have the lowdown on the making of that album and how the project came about?

What about the rest of his albums?

Naw prince has a tight grip on his stuff you might be able to find something but you're goong to have to pay for it.

He has always written most of the songs on his albums. And for a minute there prince had the music game in a choke hold. He birthed a whole new wave of music. Young Thug and Prince are on two different planets in music

I'm not comparing them musically, obviously even Young Thug's handlers with his best interests in mind (Birdman:birdman:) know he needs Rich Homie Quan to carry his brand of music

Put prince and young thug in the same sentence brehs :sadmj2:

is young thug a proprietor of his own stock of music?

when you hear dissent for young thug what's the main reason?

. . take into account the above factors, apply them to any genre . .

. . now how mature is the hip-hop audience?

All y'all who negged me are like Judas was to Jesus . .of course y'all can't see it, you're clearly set in the mind as followers . . hence all y'all negging me with no qualms against you simply for expressing an unpopular opinion, now let that sink in for a second . . what's the definition of sheep?

I'm a messenger, as The Coli, together we have the power to be worldwide trendsetters, we constantly complain about the state of hip-hop but truly hip-hop is at 14-16 year old level, maturity, target audience . . you capture the stragglers at 21+ just enough to appeal to the 14-16 year old mind. We, together as The Coli have the power to set trends . . if you're with me and you recognize this power we hold, send me a PM and we'll get started on the next big thing

for the young nyukkas in here:

Read this shyt right hur:

Purple Reign:The Artist Formerly Known as Prince
puffin
That will explain it all in a nutshell. Back then, there was no internet to surf, but tabloids out the ass. Prince was constantly rumored and photographed with women from Troy Beyer, to Kim Basinger to Sheena Easton, to Sheila E to Vanity. This has all been confirmed since by the ladies themselves. That stable is badder than yo life will ever be in eternity. The common theme with these women is that they all ended up trying to marry this dude and he wasn't having it. This is like Jeter level stuff.
funk
I know its hard to comprehend an era where frontin' and studio gangsterism meant nothin'. Stars were stars and until hip-hop musicians were far more about dressing for show and being different from their audience. Especially if you were a funk musician. And you know what, women loved it. Hell, Prince could probably walk into any hood in the fruitiest of outfits and get daps and hugs from everyone and still get bad beotches. Young Thug might get shot puffin on clouds.........................the beginnin'
