The ironic thing is most black Americans are mixed anyway. Even if your dark, with more "African" features. I honestly wonder how many "pure breed" African "African" Americans are running around in 2015 that have ancestry steaming off the boats?
I wager to bet not many, but we'll stand around and argue about if someone looks mixed, "black" or whatever. The problem is some mixed blacks want to claim to be all kind of races instead of just saying there black. And the more traditional looking blacks what to say who's black and who's not. If we all accepted that if you have black in you your black then, things would be simple.
How many white people with all kind of different races in there blood line do you think choose "other or mixed" with they fill out paper work?
They check that box Caucasian without a second thought
It should be the same for black folk.
