Uve never been to Morocco. I've known plenty of Morrovans who look like Ciara. And there's plenty of quadroons and even black Moroccans who are relegated to the fringes of society. Most Moroccans have SSA blood because of the slave trade.

I honestly don't see how Rihanna got posted in this thread. Rihanna looks unapologetically black IMO. Her lips, especially her nose look very black to me. Just because she's light skinned? She doesn't even try to play up that I have other genes nonsense like Bey. You all remember that commercial she had where she was like, I'm French, Native American, and black. Which is fine, but JLO had one where she was 100% Puerto Rican. This is the doing by the media.

But honestly, this is rather disappointing, I've only had darker girls point out my skin tone like it was a problem. I was just with my friend the other day and she was talking about this guy who's a great catch and what not, but then was like he don't want me he just likes light skinned girls so I'll throw him your way. I always wonder how I'm supposed to respond to these statements because people always say slick shyt to me like that. My cousin was like, it's easier for you, you're light skinned . I don't even think I'm that light skinned...

But enough of this! These women are black, just because they don't look like your cousins doesn't change that. Most of the women in Hollywood don't look typical, that's why they're famous. How many WW do you see walking down the street looking like Scarlett Johannson? Not many...

Yeah, when Rhianna 1st came out, her Black features showed through to me. Outside of being light skinned and having light eyes, she looked black to me. I think as her career went into the stratosphere, so did her efforts to adopt a more European look. If you see old pics of her she looks like a little light skinned girl from around the way. Same with Beyonces childhood photos. There's a big difference between merely being light skinned and passing. Rashida Jones can easily pass.

She looks mixed to me. Why can't we just admit we find mixed race/half-blacks attractive in addition to finding full blacks attractive? I find this woman attractive the same way I find Lupita attractive. I'm 50/50 when it comes to light skin/mixed race vs dark skinned. I like BOTH. Why does it have to be one or the other? Her dad is just multigenerational mixed. She used to claim her grandmother was Irish.
