Please tell me where I gave a detailed opinion about colorism, who it affects, and who practices it. This discussion is about blacks, so I don't see why I would bring up other groups.

Ok let's focus on blacks and colorism.

It is naive to believe that the long history of racial distortion - which goes back to the days of slavery and colonialism - has not had a lasting effect on the individual subconscious. We receive these messages virtually from birth, and as children's thought processes develop, they build up into a bank of subliminal stereotypes and preferences reaching adulthood, how can people realistically cast off all they've come to believe as a child?

John Donne in "Devotions upon Emergent Occasions" says no man is an island and my interpretation of that is a man's connections to his surroundings and other people has an impact on his own self-esteem. White supremacy is ubiquitous it has poisoned the minds of every single black person on this planet NO ONE is immune.

I think a lot of people of colour who get into IR relationships need to really have a moment of introspection and figure out why they got into the relationship in the first place, was it for love or was it for other superficial reasons. I've seen a lot of men and women who get into a serious relationship with someone of different race or hue, not realising that they've fetishised their partners features or colour. They end up having children and their self loathing behaviour, despite being oblivious to themselves, their perceptible children will often pickup on their parent self depreciation. And they often develop a complex as a result. I've seen within these families the lighter skin child or the child with straight hair get better treatment than their darker siblings. And these kids internalise their parent of colour self hatred. I've seen it with my aunts who were lighter skinned habeshas and who chose husbands who were often darker than themselves. It affects a lot of people
