Will we ever see another black female artist that actually looks like a black woman?

Rihanna said she used to be tease by black people on the island for benig biracial I believe she call herself biracial (or mixed) on the interview

Beyoncé said she was "creole", native American etc......

Their feelings on their identity doesn't affect my views. They're predominantly black women and have black features. I don't look at Beyonce and say "hmmm...that's one fine creole woman".

They both lack the social conscious to understand their "mixed heritage" doesn't matter in the eyes of white supremacy. If they both sported their true features and didn't adhere to European standards of beauty they would not be where they are today -"mixed" or not - because their features would be deemed "too aftican"

An actual study with data. :russ: Of course I'm just jealous of light-skinned women that's all it is. You dudes are so typical.

The hilarious part is you thought you actually had something.
You can't even quantify something Ike that.
Did they hold up a paper bag to decide who was brown, black and light?
The black community can't even decide on what's light & dark, and yet this study objectively categorized black women by their hue?
:mjlol:
You're grasping at straws and if this is the only talking point you have to rationalize you still being single, then

if mixed is black, then this woman is a black woman. do you see how ridiculous you sound

:snooze: I could've predicted this post. Cats always think posting these exceptions to the rule somehow prove your nonsensical point. It's called "passing" bruh. I don't know what this particular woman's racial make up is but she doesn't discount snytging that I've said. People who are visibly of African descent are classified as black regardless of whatever else they're mixed with.

If you place Ciara In South America, she would be a mullato. If you placed her in Europe, she'd be a mullato. In Any place in the world except America, she'd be mullato. In Australia she would be considered a half caste. If this was majority rule, the world would consider her a mullato. I guess you guys have your own unique racial politics. Keep at it and you:yeshrug: To me and most people around the world she would be a mullato .
We've all seen old photos of Ciara. She wouldn't be considered mulatto in the deepest regions of Haiti.

Why don't they just perform their craft in the Hollywood that black men have created where they can be themselves and keep their nose?

Oh that's right, black men haven't created a black Hollywood. They want us to go to the men for a job while fighting the man.

@AntiVenom[/QUOTE]

You guys change who you are trying to get a seat at the white table.
When it works for you it's no problem when it does not we get the blame.

The fukk? Where did my dating habits come into play? You asked for evidence as to the preference for light skin, and I supplied it. The study is linked you can review their methodologies, or you can continue to walk around in your disingenuous little bubble. It makes no difference to me.

Yes I have, and there's no real difference. White supremacy is global. Different countries just have different versions of the same shyt. We have different labels for mixed folks here in the west. A mixed person can check "biracial" on the census all they want, it doesn't stop them from being classified as black. This lesson has been taught throughout history, I don't know why folk haven't gotten it yet.
you smoking a mixed person in europe is never classified as black

That is no evidence you mental midget. For the reason already listed.
We can't even decide unamiously whether Trey Songz is "brown" or light skin.
And yet you're citing a "study" and census that can't be quantified off the top because unless you're Alek Wek or Halle Berry, it's by far and large subjective.
Nice bailout, though. You sound absolutely ridiculous.
