Would you really move to another city for dating purposes? I'm asking because I'm somewhat in that situation right now living in Calgary, however my job being what it is I would make less money if I move back to Toronto. I don't think I could leave a lucrative career just to expand my dating options but it's something that I now have to consider.

Yeah, it's a shame.
With how much black woman are told that they're unwanted with stuff like those OKCupid stats thrown at their faces, I can sadly see why she's depressed.

And going to Reddit is probably the last place she should be going to. It's just bunch of non-black guys that will regurgitated the same old shyt and worse. Depending on what she's looking for and if she's still into online dating, she should look into specialized sites.

And I find the current state of racial attraction to be deeply disturbing, but too many of all races and genders that enable it and defend it to death. (From "I'm not racist just for not like black women!", to "PAWG"ing, to weaves/skin-lightening.)

1. Black women only get those stats thrown in their face when they act like they can get men of other races while openly bashing black men. Of course not all black women do this but those who are "depressed" are the ones who act like they're entitled to whomever they want, race notwithstanding.

2. You touched on this but I'll expound on it. At the end of the day, men pursue and women choose. And women (esp. black women) freely choose to do all types of stupid things in hopes of catching the "best" man possible. And they try to justify those actions (albeit, nonsensibly).

If a woman wanted a decent, sensible, stable (maybe even upwardly mobile) guy, she could meet and keep one without resorting shenanigans. It's only when women get inside their own heads, demand better, and act like their sh*t don't stink that they become disappointed and depressed. Women in general MUST be held accountable for their dating prospects (or lack thereof).
