This is dude's first singles title run ever and it shows. He need a strong midcard title run first because this should honestly be Miro as champ right now after his incredible TV title run

They're just not giving him enough to sink his teeth into. I think Hangman's doing fine with what he's been given, but he's just not the guy that can elevate mid-level material or thin concepts on his own right now. Give him a concrete story he can work towards and he's great (and his in-ring work has been very good at the absolute worst since coming back), but they're just throwing challengers at him right now. Maybe he could make that work in a few years, but he's not quite there yet.
