Because to me it seems like not everything is set in stone and if the rock wasn’t doing mania he would say it at this point. It’s not like in the past when he wasn’t with the company.
He is more invested now than he has been since 04 so he’s not just going to show up and promote a movie announce mania location and leave.

It’s better with the rock but I think even if he wasn’t around the build would have picked up very soon. I think people have to remember it’s hard to start feuds too far in advance because there are so many shows and the talent is on tv so much that it would overexpose them by mania so they have to slow burn it

The Rock would have one match not the whole card. That's why others exist. No reason for everyone else to suffer cuz of it. They can easily build things up with everyone else if they not sure what's going on with The Rock. Can build a few matches already.

Forget what the dirtsheets are saying (there were rumors of Punk/Cody for weeks and then the rumors shifted to Cena/Cody).

They absolutely were attempting to setup something between Punk, Rollins and Reigns. They didn't shoot that angle at the 'Royal Rumble' for no reason.

This leads me to believe that The Final Boss is likely playing politics again but we'll see where he goes with this. Whatever happens, it's more interesting when he's on the shows IF he's going to be The Final Boss character and not Dwayne.

Cody's getting night two and I guarantee you Roman was gonna push for Jey to end night one. He and Seth just did double duty last year, they would have no problem giving up that spot in the triple threat scenario.


Maybe if Cody/Punk was happening but the way they handled the Royal Rumble made it clear something between Roman/Seth/Punk was the plan.
