Simply put, they don’t want anyone to be bigger than the brand. Hell I would even argue that they’ve diluted Becky a little bit.

This has become apparent. They don't want another John Cena or Rock. They want a Reigns. Which is a huge step down, but still a marketable draw.

I think 99% of the problem is Vince. HHH likes to strike the iron when hot in nXt. WWE main brand booking is at the entertainment of Vince and what he likes. He doesn't care about the audience or modern pop culture. WWE actually have good writers, but they aren't writing for their audience. They writing it for Vince.

Vince gone full AL Davis ever since the Daniel Bryan Wrestle Ania switch up. Ever since... He refuses to give into the fans or changing his vision.

The Worlds Collide thing from the Rumble was...not very good. Hampered by a silent crowd who had seen like 30 hours of wrestling in a day. They can't keep doing these Axxess events in what looks like mall food courts. Run it in a small, actual venue, like a place they'd do NXT house shows at. The what felt like 3 months of UK tapings where none of those fans knew any of those dudes except Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne yet they ran the shows like they were in the UK and everyone was up to date with the angles and characters

You sound like someone who didn't watch the WWC tournament from the Rumble Axxess. Universal reaction was it looked super low rent (with, literally, a food court visible almost anytime they got away from hard cam) with a completely dead crowd and a lot of matches that never really picked up because everyone was working so many matches they had to pace themselves. The UK stuff especially was just dreadful due to that small crowd having no idea who these people were and getting 3-4 weeks of TV at once from them.

actually i did watch it and it wasn’t even that bad, the match quality was fine and my biggest gripe was how Keith Lee got chumped out the tourney so early

could it have been better? yes, mostly cause the participants they chose left a lot to be desired but the concept overall is still dope, as far as the venue it is what it is, felt like a random indie show and the crowd was no worse than the average 205 Live crowd
