I find it so hilarious how quickly arguments can flip flop.

If the argument is who needed more help it's all like "LeBron needed a stacked team full of HOFers to win! Kobe did it without a superstar! Gasol is not a superstar!"

But then if the argument is which team would win if they were matched up the the same people will be like "Pau, Bynum, & Odom would destroy Bosh, Haslem, and a "C@cman" :scusthov: Artest was still great in 2010 while Wade is flabby and sick in 2013!"

Lol

So which is it did Kobe have a better supporting cast then LeBron or is the Heat the better team? You can't have it both ways.

I don't see anyone saying it would be close so whichever team that would destroy the other obviously has the better supporting cast. And whichever team is the loser had their superstar player win championships with less help.

The Lakers of 2008-2010 had the more balanced team than MIA of last couple years. Gasol gets a bad wrap right now but he was a perfect fit in the triangle and he transformed the Lakers. Ariza's growth in 2009 also helped them out immensely.. He had so many steals and clutch threes.

That 09 lakers team wouldnt even be relevant if Kobe didn't take down Yao, and TMac bytch ass didint have premature surgury. We almost beat them nigguhs with Artest and Aaron Brooks.

Pau Gasol was in his absolute prime and a beast in every sense.

That was the reason for why the Lakers doubled up.

Dallas barely beat Miami in 11, close series

Dallas against basically the 08-10 Lakers squad.... you remember

That Orlando team in 09 was good though. I'd pick the Heat bc their Finals loss was a lot more dignified and their regular season runs were better.

Is everybody healthy? I just don't see how the Heat compete with LA's size either way, especially with a healthy Bynum. You would basically have Indy from this year with Kobe in place of George and then you add Odom, Ariza/Artest. :whoo: You put a healthy D. Wade out there and the Heat would be able to make it interesting but I gotta go with the Lakers.

Gotta go with heat and it ain't even close since they went against TWO powerhouses in the final. The thunder were 12-3 and the spurs were 12-2 before they got to the finals

The 2011 Lakers was nowhere as good as those other Laker teams. :aicmon:

Kobe and Pau fell off. Losing Ariza and Farmar hurt us. We weren't as athletic or quick, so we weren't getting easy points from fastbreaks etc.

Yeah, Odom up until 2011 after he won 6th man was one of the biggest X factors in the league. His versatility really made that team deep offensively and defensively.
