Just don't think Derick was the right fit for AJ. His style really does nothing to address AJ’s weaknesses. He looks even stiffer and more wide open than before. Just looks like he’s constantly second guessing himself.
I didn't think he looked bad under Robert Garcia but AJ didn't give that time to marinate because of one loss :francis:

Good performance from AJ... still a little gun shy but he was thinking and adjusting.

He still gotta build that bond with DJ and throw them combos.

A knockout like that will help with his confidence to know that he can pull it out the bag when needed.

Hope Helenius doesn't take it too badly.

We poppin Supermalt tonight.

I think he left cause Garcia was talking shyt about him to the media after the usyk loss. Saying he was mentally defeated. But he did look really good in that fight. Now he just looks so unsure of himself. Defense definitely took a step back. I was surprised to see him so busted up.

I actually felt reynoso woulda been the best fit for him. Sanchez looks great under him. And Eddie is great with head movement and natural counter punchers.

Derrick looking funny in the light

AJ should have stayed with Robert Garcia as his coach:yeshrug:

In a loss, this was the best he's ever looked post-Andy Ruiz
