Of course...thats my point. They made him bland and dimensionless, and gave the fans zero reason to care about him. His look and ability practically would have marketed itself. Even after ditching thuganomics, John Cena's character is still "blacker" than Kofi's. All Kofi had to do was represent contemporary black culture smartly. It would have been a slam dunk.
