Then develop it ? Or learn it?

This is America/Western World. The worlds 5%.

If you cant do it here....where can you ?

You learn first and then develop your skillset

If there is a will, there is a way.

Now these fish tales of making one million in a year are exactly that, fish tales UNLESS you have put your self in the position from jump to make those moves.

Realistically you need 150K a year to make something like this happen.

That is the bottom, you need money to make money

Thread really exposes people.

I was just thinking about all of this today while trying to map out my schedule for the week and sort through all of my goals.

No one takes responsibility for just being "average" or "mediocre." No one takes responsibility for not putting in the time and effort necessary to succeed.

So most "average" and "regular" guys see someone living a certain lifestyle and immediately look for ways to:

1.) Denigrate the individual and their lifestyle in order to;
2.) Assuage their feelings of insecurity.

Everyone wants to be valued and respected without putting the necessary work in.

Most guys see this and envy but you'll never hear them cop to it. Instead you'll get a bunch of comments about dude being superficial, or full of himself. Or about his privilege and this and that. No one thinks about how they can maximize themselves and achieve similar or better results. Not only do they discount themselves, but they make a point of passing along false and hopeless advice to others, which is the worst part.

I used to fall for this hard when I was younger, I used to even participate at times; but I always knew I wanted something more and I'm working toward that.

You know that guy's parents bought him that car right? He's a med student, from a wealthy family. :comeon:
There are better examples :snoop:

All you just said is

" I don't know how to make a million a year without starting with at least 150k"

But carry-on with those limiting beliefs...

YOU need money to make money... Others don't

So in a sense you are right...but only in reference to yourself and it only affect your ability to make income....not others

A "fishtale" to you is someone's reality...

one of my best friends is in san fran right now. he's the cofounder for a company that finds investors for small and medium businesses. they just got a nice chunk of change for stake in their company.

he does their coding and he taught himself how to code :wow:

how long did it take to teach himself how to code

lot of negative nancies in this thread

why even come in here if you're not interested.

before you go though. most businesses fail but, some succeed. that's why you have a job. every place you have ever worked at was a business. started by someone unspectacular who just took a risk and succeeded. when you go into work each day, you are looking at a business that succeeded. that person gives you that nice cubicle and pays you $30/hr while he makes $100 for every $1 he gives you. if risks aren't for you, no shame in that. but stop lashing out at others. yall sound insecure.

There is some good info in the article, but the author is not accounting for income tax, living expenses, student loans, etc., expects you to get a $100k job right out of college, and basically requires you to put all your focus in to gaining revenue in your 20s.

So this is very unrealistic unless you're in NYC or the Bay and you're willing to live with your well off parents for most of those years.
Yeah that's where it was throwing me off too :francis:
