You do realize that a lot of back people do stick to the books and are still not hired after receiving a higher education.
A lot of these people in the positions of power/hiring still don't care to hire black people just because of their skin

College, absolutely. Libraries are phasing out due to the internet. You can research anything without leaving the house.
You are not guaranteed any success because of a college education though.
