I think with Pizzy the problem is more than that. I think he came up on the artsy, blipster lane his music just has no traction out here with the youth. Boogie saying he never heard of him in his Ebro interview is very telling.
The East thing is just crab shyt IMO. People expecting hand outs because he made it things of that nature, reminds me of what Nas had to deal with in Queensbridge ironically. I mean one, two songs is fine how many songs is he supposed to be doing with nikkas? I do agree that East has a big ego though he seemed a lot more humble when he first came up, now he be clapping at fans on social media. I don't think Boogie overshadows him with the love for up and comers or the networking. Boogie doesn't have many local features, other than Snoopy Dinero I can't think of local artists he featured with. He had a really quick rise and went fully mainstream. I'd put Casanova, French, Fabolous ahead on that networking tip. Don Q does more than Boogie, he does a lot of local features and taking A1 from Courtlandt to Funk Flex and letting him steal the show was a big look. Hell, Don even jumped on that Matalo record.
