I think East problem is that although he is from Harlem he missed a whole era when he moved to the DMV, he did most of his high school there and he went to college there. He also got locked up in Baltimore. Also, if you seen his Rapture documentary you see that East had both parents in his life, and they were strict on him. East had to go to Queens to his aunts crib to be around that street element. He strikes me as the kid who had both parents providing for him but he always had allure for the streets. East was a regular hood nikka who could play ball and rap, he was a bud man, he was never some big time street nikka. Once basketball didn't work out in the DMV and he served his bid he didn't go back home to Harlem. Seems like he was living nomadic hanging with his cousins and aunts in Philly and Queens.

Because of this a lot of Harlem nikkas will never jack him.
I mean I could see this being the case but that whole "both parents in his life" dont mean shyt. Like AT ALL. I dont understand how people use this as some kinda verification that nikkas ain't street. U can have both parents in ur life and still struggle. U can have both parents in ur life but live in an abusive household. U can have both parents in ur life and not fukk wit and have legitimate issues with one of em or both of em. Meanwhile u can have a single mother or father who treat u way better or have u in a better position. nikka seem like a hood nikka who knew how to play ball. Who was a knucklehead and was gassed up and not focused and fukked it up. I know TOO many nice nikkas in the hood who fukked up sports opportunities fukkin wit the streets or doin some dumb shyt to get locked up or whatever. But I def feel u.

Tray Pizzy dissed him because he felt Dave wasn't giving back and putting on other NY rappers that helped him on his comeup. Dave East actually mentioned 1 shot Deals in his diss, so he's responding to that:

If that's his argument then he sounds foolish, and he may have personally been expecting some type of handout.

Dave just did videos for his features with Nym Lo, Neek Bucks & King Shooter all within the last month and a half. He's definitely putting on lesser known NYC rappers. Tray Pizzy didn't get the stimulus for whatever reason.

East actually have him a guest placement on Hate Me Now which dropped after the Nas signing. The song has 110,000 views on Mass Appeal's YouTube page and is the highest viewed record Tray Pizzy has been apart of by a wide margin. :dead:

Pizzy is a crab, period all these nikkas jealous of East. In the new NY, no rapper is showing as much love as East as far as features, video appearances, shout outs, project postings. East actually leveled up and started his own imprint and is putting people on.

Pizzy's problem is the guys and management around him...they always create tension for no reason.... he has the skill and the hunger its the shyt around him that fukks his shyt up. Border Block been around before dave east got on. those are guys from around the way hes cool with....ask yourself this....why is it that the majority of colllabos dave east done/does with young up and coming talent is usually a one, two song max? something goes on behind the scenes....and its with those crews and the egos. simple as that...if you follow the whole east side scene youll have heard all of these collabos and know that they are majority fire but its like you only get a song or two and thats it then you hear they don get along and then all these disses and sneak disses pop up. From what i understand East's ego is off the chain...and his immediate crew are knuckleheads always looking to start trouble. A boogie easily over shadows him with the city networking and love for the up and comers.

I think with Pizzy the problem is more than that. I think he came up on the artsy, blipster lane his music just has no traction out here with the youth. Boogie saying he never heard of him in his Ebro interview is very telling. :francis:

The East thing is just crab shyt IMO. People expecting hand outs because he made it things of that nature, reminds me of what Nas had to deal with in Queensbridge ironically. I mean one, two songs is fine how many songs is he supposed to be doing with nikkas? I do agree that East has a big ego though he seemed a lot more humble when he first came up, now he be clapping at fans on social media. I don't think Boogie overshadows him with the love for up and comers or the networking. Boogie doesn't have many local features, other than Snoopy Dinero I can't think of local artists he featured with. He had a really quick rise and went fully mainstream. I'd put Casanova, French, Fabolous ahead on that networking tip. Don Q does more than Boogie, he does a lot of local features and taking A1 from Courtlandt to Funk Flex and letting him steal the show was a big look. Hell, Don even jumped on that Matalo record.

as much as i like him as an artist, tray pizzy. his ego way too big.

Wayno dont mess with east no more...East went to a pro management/promotion team....anyone whose dealt with pizzy knows his management tries to strong arm everything....having come aceoss them at a few venues with friends who promo...these guys want you to cater to pizzy as if hes already on and shyt on everyone else...causing all sorts of havoc back stage and tensions among various crews. saying that...tray pizzy is talented no doubt. his approach to the industry as well as his management is what holds him back....at least locally.

Pizzy's problem is the guys and management around him...they always create tension for no reason.... he has the skill and the hunger its the shyt around him that fukks his shyt up.
that hate.. :whew:
