I mean i guess there are exceptions. Think that was the only time it was defended on a ppv so that could be a reason but who knows.

Don't think it would've made sense to have BD as a double champion. They could've just made it for the heavyweight title and left continental out of it.

Nah Okada and especially Naito mailed it in on the NJPW tour shows often times where they'd be involved in the faction six man tags. Sometimes they wouldn't even take their t-shirt off. Omega too.
