I don't think it's wrong for women not to want to be called out on the street.

I just think there are better ways to address it. And I don't think classifying it as some sort of verbal rape is accurate, which a seemingly growing amount of women like to do.

I'd fully agree with women that it can be annoying.
So then whats the "right" way for them to address it, in your opinion? Why should you get to dictate how women complain about something that supposedly doesn't even involve you (even tho any time a thread on this topic comes up u are in it crying). A lot of nikkas won't take no for an answer or dont get the fukking hint.

I think trying to define what harassment is will not be black and white. Kinda like a white person trying to tell a black person what qualifies as racism. Unless you're at the receiving end, I really don't think your definition of it holds much water.
Interesting. So you have to be a woman to have an opinion on an issue about women? :usure:

That's cool.

Do you also have to be a killer to have an opinion on murder?

:rudy:

That's one compliment from one guy, but if it is constant men all day long from the time you are 13 till you are 55, usually accompanying hungry stares and sometimes groping, it can wear on you over time and that's the part men don't know how to identify with. Here they are thinking it is just occasional compliments and it sounds positive, but it is creepy and violating to get it constantly. Most women here have probably been verbally harassed since they were underaged as well.

You wish :mjlol:

I'm not sure I have the end-all, be-all answer to that question.

What's the solution you would propose? Arresting every guy that says "Hey beautiful" in public?

Naw, but a start would be having a dialogue that doesn't demonize anybody who complains about being harrassed.

And it goes way beyond brehs yelling "Hey beautiful". U know this.

Fair enough.
But i mentioned "hey beautiful" since it seemed to be the most common expression in the video.

I feel bad for her. Most of those dudes probably smell like liquor and moth balls. I can see how that can get annoying to the point where even a "Hello" can piss a girl off.
I just don't think it's fair to refer to every "Have a nice evening" as sexual harassment :patrice: It sounds like she's saying, "I can have sex with 99% of the men I walk pass today. Therefore, any man that greets me is sexually harassing me."

I was waitin on someone to say " Ol bucket head bytch!"

That's one thing that was glaringly missing from this video. Where were the insults at her ignoring them? I didn't hear any " you ugly anyway" "bytch, you ain't all that" etc...
