Edit: Here it is..... $35,000,000 at 20 years old....... $17 million AFTER TAXES

HOLLA AT YA BOY!! 19 YEAR OLD South Carolina Dude Wins $35M Lottery Jackpot!! - Mediafakeout.com™ 2013

May 21, 2008: COLUMBIA, S.C. -- (AP) Jonathan Vargas turns 20 in July. But he relied on the ages of close relatives instead of his own when he picked the six winning numbers for Saturday's $35.3 million Powerball jackpot.

The Gaston construction worker said his two younger brothers turn 12 and 14 this year; his sister will be 15 and his older brother will be 21. Their mom turned 43 earlier this year.

And the winning red ball number?

"As far as 30 -- just a lucky guess," he said Monday at a news conference announcing him as the winner.

With the win, Vargas became one of the Midlands most eligible bachelors. (Patricia Richardson, 43, says her son is neither married nor in a relationship.)

While other winning Powerball tickets have been sold in South Carolina, state lottery director Ernie Passailaigue said Vargas, who went to Airport High School in Lexington County, is the first winner who lives in the state.

Passailaigue said Vargas likely will take the lump-sum payment, estimated at $17.3 million, instead of the annuity that pays out the larger jackpot amount over 29 years.

Vargas -- who said Saturday was the first time he'd played the lottery -- plans to buy his mother a house and quit work, he said.

"Right now, there's no really big plans in the works," he said. The first thing he plans to do is get a lawyer and a financial consultant. He said he already has an accountant -- his aunt.

Vargas said the numbers came to him while he was at work. He was having a bottle of juice and saw that the expiration date on the bottle was his birthday. He said a voice in his head told him, "Your family is going to bring you success and fortune."

"I heard the numbers in my head," he said. "I called my mom and said write these numbers down."

He also wrote the numbers on a napkin and tucked it away in his pocket. He still has the napkin. He was holding it when he watched the drawing.

"When it got to the third number, I knew I had it," he said. "I was grateful. I was crying. It was a very emotional moment for me."

Lottery win teen spends millions on wrestling

September 24, 2009 5:13 PM

A 19-year-old who won $17m on the lottery has spent much of his winnings developing a female wrestling league.

Jonathan Vargas, who scooped the win in May 2008, thinks his Wrestlicious production can rival established wrestling leagues like WWE.

He says the wrestling business was the obvious thing for him to invest in when he won the cash, he even plans to star in his show which is due to launch later this year
.

Surrounded by wrestling babes he will play the role of "JV Rich" the affable Rapper/Owner of Wrestlicious.

Oddly at the time of his win Vargas said he would avoid a flash lifestyle of expensive cars and houses… oh how a year of having $17m in the bank can change you.

"It’s definitely always been a dream to be in the wrestling business" said Vargas.

"I grew up watching Jimmy Hart, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs, and it seems surreal that they are all part of Wrestlicious now.

"We have assembled some of the best producers and talent in the business, and I know in my heart Wrestlicious will be a home run"

You can't even tell your family though. You gotta keep your ass quiet and live the life you live.

Family member struggling?

"Oh I gotta raise at work, lemme help you out a lil". Or you find a way to secretly pay down their trouble via that nice lawyer you found to collect the money for you. The worst thing you can do is tell someone. That's when you get murder plots and haters. Even your own blood can start to make you like :whoa:

I cant dap this post enough!

Why the fukk are you telling ANYBODY you won???:why:

What I dont need is ppl tryna get in good wit me, ppl tryna tell me it was a blessing from god and that I need to do right by the lord and money:comeon:, and I dont need nikkaz tryna kidnap my family members for ransom. :pacspit:

Sometimes its not up to you.........depends on the state or jurisdiction.......for instance..Maryland you can win anonymously.....other states they are required to say who won.........so basically its another luck of the draw where you win in a way.....

In Canada, you have to collect your winnings in person. And you have to have your picture taken with a big-ass cheque if you want to take it. That clause is on the back of every lottery ticket sold, usually every time a big winner wins they try to fight that clause but it's never been over-turned.

you have a year though, i always said if i were to win, id get everything in order first, buy a house in a secluded location in a another country, get my affairs in order, then pick up my cheque and a few hours later my plane would be leaving for that country.

Good plan but don't you feel its a little unnecessary?

I'd pick up my cheque, buy a crib in the carribean, switch schools to somewhere in the states, live off the interest from at least 2-3 ms , splurge on whatevers left and im STRAIGHT... I have no problem telling people HELL NO... I'm from the PJ's if you dont say no the first time nikkas will expect you to say YES
