Too much inside baseball, smark reaction clearly dictates many choices, no edge, no hip, no social commentary (The Trump elephant just keeps getting bigger and bigger), an over-reliance on past-stars and part-timers, show hasn't changed in presentation or format in 20 damn years, horrible writing and booking, more PPV's than I can fukking count, horrible crowds that need to be re-trained, obnoxious commentary, the list goes on and on....

Rep for summing up a shytty Youtube video with the actual points instead of forcing us to watch 7 minutes of neckbeard ranting

I was thinking the same shyt....

Had to rep homie. He went through that so we ain't have to go through that...:mjcry:

*two guys come out and talk on microphones*

*authority figure comes out and books them in the main event*

*three hours of garbage happens*

Wrestling with no point or purpose, lack of characters is killing it all. Nothing feels like it's at stake the only people over besides Braun and Lesnar are only popular for shyt they did outside the company and the marks that cheer them give them a pass for suffering from the same shortcomings of their WWE brethren because they "Earned" the right to fight for zero stakes and have no mic skills or character besides top guy. I don't subscribe to this thinking, that's why I give AJ Styles all the credit in the world for stepping his mic game up when he didn't have to. Kayfabe has nothing to do with their social media anyone following those guys is an obsessive fan that likes to peak behind the curtain anyway. I feel that them throwing away the narrative of their feuds when they do press is damaging. You see how McGreggor and Floyd disrespected each other leading to their fight? How they had a majority of casual fans believing a MMA fighter could beat an undefeated legendary defensive boxer in his first boxing match? When people who're open minded see John Cena on Good Morning America they may be charmed but the wrestlers eventually talk people out of caring when they speak about respecting their opponent, movie careers, the general fakeness and come across too normal too much like standard entertainers rather than athletes who can give people fights that can only happen within the fixed nature of wrestling.

We're discussing how feud matches are bunched up too fast, right? Okada/Omega trilogy comes off like it took longer to do compared to the typical E way.

It's not meant to be taken literally.

My point is that Omega and Okada was very rushed, specially in the context of a puro promotion. The fact that WWE goes full retard with it doesn't make what New Japan did a good thing, even less an example of "what should be done".

What's funny is Whatculture and Adam specifically are some of the main reasons the crowds got like this.

No one wants characters anymore because the internet told them to like cool spammy move sets.

I don't think it's that people don't want characters, it's that Vince doesn't give a shyt about developing characters.

I agree though. The wrestling is good, it's just that it feels like everyone wrestles the same.
