Bro, it was surreal because I waited so fukking long for it to come out. And it didn't disappoint. Loved it and still love it. Obviously not as good as the original but it was a damn good follow up. I still think about how it would've sounded if it came out as the Dr.Dre and RZA produced album as it was once advertised.

This dropped around the time Blueprint 3 did. I copped them both the same day and listened to them back to back,first BP3 then Cuban Linx 2. Cuban Linx 2 shyt all over BP3!!!!!

My only real beef is that most of the last few songs are unnecessary. I remember somebody suggested ending it at Catalina, kinda ending it on a down note like Nightmares on Hell Hath No Fury.

I think he meant 'son' in the vernacular sense rather than familial. At least I hope it was, otherwise - that's some tough love to put your kid through.

At the end he says “I don’t give a fukk if you 25 you still my Son nikka. Thats why I let you ass slide” Plus he’s got a song with Sun God where he talks about them running trains on broads together and in Gihad he says “remember when we ran a train on this bytch and you went and still fukked her raw”.


I just added it up to being Sun God, and it makes the story that much iller and hilarious
