No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Much better than i remember

But i would say that the production carries the rhymes more that visa versa. The song concepts are dope tho, very. Good hooks and all that.

Last song with the sesame street "bluuu" shyts wack tho after a nonstop album of good songs.

8.0 all time. Great album with a few hangups.

Btw i always thought blu continues where murs left off. Living legends been on these sounds the so called new west fukk wit today.

I'm from California.
It wasn't dead whatsoever.
Just a three years before that Murs
dropped 3:16 which deals with
very similar topics and a year before
that he dropped Murray's Revenge.

You're proving my point. Murs was the most relevant and yet he had to go to the south and team up with 9th to get any type of traction. He never made it beyond a grassroots level and his influence isn't close to Blu who sonically changed the LA rap landscape from that moment onward. After Blu dropped you had Kendrick, Dom (switching his style to that sound), Tyler, and you name it going in that direction and it is now commonplace where when Murs dropped 3:16 he was alone.

Bloodline
14 years ago... damn. This is a classic. I have no idea what happened to Blu but it's regrettable for hip hop as a whole that he didn't breakthrough.
