God damn :snoop:

Why nikkas always like to intentionally break the rules, then get mad/surprised when they get penalized for it :why:

Either follow the damn rules, find a civil way to attempt to bring change to the rules, or carry your ass somewhere else where they have different rules :what:

If it's that big a deal then the parents need to meet with the school administration and discuss changing the shyt.....but until then, don't get mad when the school does exactly what they already said they'd do if your kid does something contrary to the rules

Shoulda just have anyone with wrong uniform an hour detention after school, writing a paper on why uniform is important, do this everyday, till everyone is following the rules.

I agree that sending them home is pointless.

nikka fukk some socks...

They going to school to learn, not be a damn fashion show. Pull em to the side and tell em to not do it no more, call the parents, make em stay in detention after school...etc

Don't suspend em and tell them to stay at home where they just gonna play xbox all day and beat off...

:dwillhuh:

This Nazi America training shyt has gotta stop. Let people be what they want to be, and stop tryna put people in a box. Should be encouraging creativity and individuality instead of making clones.

Pull em to the side and tell em to not do it no more? :deadmanny: Are you serious? You really think that shyt would make any difference?

According to the principal, all of those kids (AND their parents) were specifically warned beforehand, PLUS both kids and parents knew the rules to begin with. So if the kids continue to break the rule, then one of your solutions is MORE talking :snoop:

And I highly doubt that the school didn't try other punishments/methods at first before realizing the shyt just wasn't working. Parents were clearly called before, since the article states that they were spoken to before about the shyt

And :wtf: at your "fashion show" comment in reference to fukkin' UNIFORMS.....when that comment would be more appropriate to describe the kids who wanna go against the grain and wear their own thing instead of the proper uniform

I think uniforms encroaches on personal freedoms and nurtures a military complex for later in life

:childplease:

if you went to an all black high school, dressing regular is interrupts class.:lupe:

kids roast each other all day for what they are wearing and whats on their feet. :ohlawd:

when we had uniforms, niccas would go at nicca's haircuts and sneaks ... we wasnt safe :lolbron:

:what:

You can always go to another school if you dont like the uniforms. Wearring clothes encroaches upon personal freedoms of nudists. With that said are we going to not require people wear clothes in non-nudist schools?

Exactly!

My job has no work schedule so i can show up anytime and leave at anytime i want as long as my projects are being worked on and progress is being made. If i was to get a job where they required me to be there by 8AM then thats what I would have to do. Aint no meeting with managers to challenge the shyt. Either do it or go elsewhere. i cant stand people that NEED everything to be convenient to THEM.

So some teacher or group of teachers who are proably underpaid anyway have to stay more hours to detain these children? Nah, keep them home with their parents and let their work schedules/lives be interrupted. I bet after two days the parents made sure those kids were in uniform.

I did think of that as I posted it, I knew it was flawed

:ehh:
i digs, i dig.....

but check it... aint this a public school? most students are on reduced lunch, so if theyre gonna be hard on a uniform policy they should at least provide students with a proper uniform.

second, you shouldnt remove them from the learning process. for some of them, nothing would make them happier than to have a two day vacation. :comeon: naw lil nikka u staying here til 5 today since you cant get your uniform right

3rd, this is a black school. with a black prinicipal. :comeon: you got bigger issues to fry than worry about uniforms. how about you worry about getting more up to date books? this is one of the many reasons why our education system is shytted on by other states.

trippin over small shyt when Mobile already has a 45% graduation rate:damndamndamn:

The small shyt is part of the reason why schools are the way they are.

Wearing uniforms just boil down to discipline and wearing them is one of the small starts to achieve this.

Kids who are disciplined perform waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than undisciplined kids

:pachaha: Thats the equivalent of putting a kid in "time out". These young bucks need a good whoopin'. They should've never outlawed spankings. That's the problem. The younger generation believes there are no repercussion for their actions

They're in highschool. What parent would stay home from work (if they even do work) and possibly lose pay, to babysit their teenage child ? Half the kids probably met up a somebody's house and got high. I know thats what we did back in the day :russ:

I've been suspended in high school before and the last thing I was allowed to do was go anywhere. I wish I would have thought it was ok to leave the house during suspension...moms was not having that. Plus I still had to do all the school work I missed.

Math and science are important, trust me, I feel 100% wholehearted about an education...

but this is about FOLLOWING RULES...if you or your child can't follow the rules (or find a loophole, yes this IS America) then an education is gonna be the LEAST of their problems when they get older...Hell, I'm a smoker and I HATE the weed laws in the US, but if I GOT CAUGHT disregarding the weed laws of a certain city/state I'd be "suspended" too, "suspended" from my family and friends and my job cause I'd be in jail...

I went to private HS after coming from a public non uniform middle and elementary schools. Saw no problems with uniforms, made things easy and kept those that were underprivileged from being picked on too much...

fight the rules at the end of the school year, tell ya parents to vote in them PTA meetings and do away with them, but for now, that's the rules and you have to follow them or suffer consequences
