Coli scientist we're writing paragraphs after paragraphs talking fukking nonsense.
I remember lurking here and people were saying that "black people can't get the Coronavirus"...now it seems like this disease is just attacking black folk now.
:snoop:
and one mod who's SN is based on a major midwestern American city that posts in colored fonts was peddling the most dangerous amount of \MISinformation I've ever seen in my 20 years of being online. Hopefully he changed his tune/.I wouldn't want to read that any member of this forum took his advice and put themselves of their family in harms way.

I hear what you’re saying regarding the flu but I’m just looking at how dudes that know damn well they weren’t concerned with the flu even though it has similarities all of a sudden are super concerned now. No questions asked just parroting what they hear on tv. I’m not saying to be reckless but when the majority are getting over this why are people acting like this is death virus that if you catch it it’s a wrap? I think too many are getting caught up in the hysteria.
no one wants to be the one late for the party in taking action as a mayor, governor etc..
its tricky cause lets say your a politician or mayor . You cant be behind the curve but have to follow suit or else your head is on the chopping block by taking action such as enforcing social distancing. just recently, florida will have stay at home rule after harsh criticism and at the same time if your a business owner you have to decide the measures that needs to take place cause this virus you can feel great but still spread it to your spouse that's the tricky part of this virus. The tricky part is some folks dont care but the problem is the indirect and direct ways that person can affect that person. since its a new phenonmenon even when you die from the virus folks dont want you near your loved ones cause the dead body is still affected. those are just a few examples the few differences between this virus and the flu. there is no proven solution yet.

the news and media is glued to this 24 7 and it can make you go nuts but unfortunately its a hardcore reality given how easy this virus can spread and the toll this disease takes its toll on resources, the hospitals, and on staff members and this virus situation indirectly affects issues that are forced to be on the back burner like domestic violence victims staying at home with their abuser and non profit organizations, shelters etc.. the virus has this trickle down effect indirectly.

Uncertain grounds
Numbers are fake since everyone is not being tested and some already sick people get labeled as a coronavirus number when probably not...

There is a woman in my county who has been bed ridden for months with every disease you can imagine and then she got rona and died so she counts as a rona death instead of a cancer and/or pneumonia death

I mean...she was alive then got rona and died. So..she is a rona death with underlying conditions. Thats not a "fake number". If she didnt get it she would be alive..

The 215
I mean, we really don't know anything about this virus cause it's so new, that's why people are not taking chances. There's so much we haven't been told that could help us, and the ojnly real authorities we can trust are health officials, doctors, virologists, epidemiologists, CDC, WHO, etc...even our own elected leaders in some cases have failed us. And with the way this is taking out people, it's not worth the chance of getting it and finding out if it's easy to beat.

And its not the first time we've had quarantines for diseases and viruses...best to be safe. I know I wouldn't want to see anybody on this board get this or their family members get this.
I don’t want anybody to get it either but we’ve never had a quarantine like this and I honestly feel like we’re doing this over something similar to the flu. I know they vaccines for the flu but that don’t stop nothing please believe it. My cousin got the flu a few years ago right after getting a shot like a month before. I guess that’s why I’m not as hype as some on this. Not like I’m not staying in for the most part because it’s nothing to do that I normally do but when going to the store I still do that stuff like normal.

Less than 5%, most likely less than 1% if we really test everybody:unimpressed:.
yes however the issue is while getting everyone to be tested setting it up testing sites etc. and simultaneously in the meantime how to slow down the spreading since the spreading is easy to acquire and at times depending on your body, the death can come quickly. as i said earlier the intensity of the virus has a ripple affect on resources and the lack of "CURE" is the issue. no cure yet. Again, someone may feel great and not sick but actually has the virus and spread it to others unknowingly.

You do know bold can happen with the flu and folks weren’t this hype is moreso where I’m coming from. I get why the politicians do what they do because that’s how it is in their profession. I guess I’m surprised more people don’t at least have questions like me and are cool being in the house like the bird man of Alcatraz. The guy everybody going at speaks some truth if this last too long imo. People bullshytting and I know coli seems to have a disproportionate amount of ballers but that’s not most people off the net. I wonder how those cats going to make it long term because we all know 1200 and moving shyt.

Lowkey...alot of Americans have fascist/authoritarian impulses and desires.
Which makes sense that we now have a fascist/authoritarian President who acts like a dictator, lies through his teeth like nothing, and is more obssessed with anything that gratifies his ego than protecting the citizens who "elected" (more like selected by the EC) him.
He's turned America into a banana republic. And the Republicans that grovel at his feet enable this bullshyt...even though they can stop it at anytime.
good point. this as well as the fact that his adminstration/himself caught on late to the train so to speak so they are playing aggressive catchup. at the same time we must be careful out there no choice unfortunatly

Nikkas dont wanna hear this shyt but shutting down the economy is gonna kill a lot more people in the coming months and years.
Do you know how many people lost their livelyhood and health insurance?
Exactly this. It sounds callous, but corona is mostly killing off people who didn’t have much longer anyway. The economy shutting down has much greater long term impact than the net benefit of extending a few people’s lives by a few months.
