I still think shutting down the economy isn’t justified because of an extra 1000 deaths a day. More nikkas is gonna go bankrupt, commit suicide, suffer from depression because they don’t have a job than a bunch of old nikkas whose death got accelerated by a few months. fukk this shyt. Innocent nikkas in pre trial detention can’t even assert their rights because of this bullshyt.

I do think Governments will try and use this pandemic to push through all kinds of new laws to further control the populace. The same thing happened during 9/11 and the Financial crisis. Politicians are never ones to let a crisis go to waste. If things got really bad who's to say they won't just cancel the elections in November.

I work with 20 somethings that quote movies like Boiler Room, Wall Street, and WOWS. There is a large swath of people that watch those movies and truly did not understand the point of story

Any time I see one of them post a leo/Jordan Belfort meme about working in sales, I want to throw my phone at the nearest window
