Don't know if it's been talked about but what brand shoes do yall recommend for long form walking? Hoka? Adidas, Sketcher, Nike, Asics, Saucony? Thanks in advance.

I "stand by" the Asics Nimbus 26 for 3-500 miles. (3 mos)

I've gone through 2 pairs, and except for the fact that the top mesh is weak sauce and I can see my socks through them - they're great.

I've heard good things about (i.e. I watched a lot of reviews)
  • Nike Vomero 19
  • Brooks Max Glycerin
  • Hoka Bondi 9
That said, these are "max stack" shoes - so it's like wearing platform and looking like a suburban dad ( :flabbynsick: ).

They feel heavy and clunky at first...but then they spring back with every step.

Low key it's kinda hard to wear my regular kicks now.

The flip side of this is going "no stack", "low rise", and minimal padding.

I've got some Altra's that I switch out from time to time. Much "harder" ride, but massive toe box. Low key they look a bit like clown shoes if you round them folks that like to hate.

These for the rain

And some other joints just for hoofing it/hitting the gym (can't find a pic, might already be discontinued after a year..)

I actually need a new pair since last week. I've put 500 miles on my 26's and might upgrade to the 27s.
