National title announced tonight

Tony with another title for the AEW sickos, will probably be crowned before the women's tag titles . A shame that Aminata got hurt. Still leaning towards Toni/Mina being the 1st champs.

Not sure where the new title will line up in the pecking order, have to assume it's below Okada's belt

Thinking about it and what if the new national championship isn't an AEW title but a pro wrestling title. Like the champion can go defend it anywhere. Sort of like how Mercedes goes to all these indies. But a male wrestler that does that defending the "national championship" as in all over the nation.

They already merged two titles so i doubt they'll be able to manage another one again. This can also help if they feature highlights from those matches on aew tv. Maybe it'll be a good idea if they go that route.

I like the idea. The fact an AEW title can change hands anywhere is interesting. It can create opportunities to build talent, too.

Didn't they already do that somewhat with the International belt, I remember seeing Pac defending it in England back in the day.

yeah i think i remember that. of course Pac was from there so who knows what could've happened if they would've kept it going like that. lets see what they decide to do. hopefully they make it interesting whichever way it is.
