You don't need a fukking militia to police the neighborhood....bangers will see it as just one more set fighting for territory.

You've got to get at the root issues that are actually causing kids to chase the gang life. Get fathers with their families, get the schools fixed and keep the kids in them, get employment up in the cities, address the drug issue with meaningful reform (meaning legalization and rehab), reform the criminal code and prison system.

It's got to start at an individual level with our values, it's got to be at the family level with our kids actually getting raised, it's got to be at a community level with the schools and churches and jobs being at the top of our priorities, and it's got to be at the societal level with the systems getting fixed.

But it starts with us - no one's going to change anything at the societal level unless we're driving that change first.


Starting up militias is just fighting fire with fire. It's ain't going to do anything to root out the disease.
