Dear God. The optics of a black teenage boy gropping an old white woman on her porch in KKKentucky are horrible. 
Yah he needs to both eat that legal charge and needs a mental evaluation. But even moreso, he and his family should get a protective police detail in the meantime . You don't need a degree in rocket science to see how this could go south for them in KKKentucky.

I did my time many years ago, with a guy who, 27 days after turning 13 in 2003, kidnapped, murdered, and sodomized an elderly woman. His neighbor.
I just looked him up, couldn't remember how much time he got. In total he got a sentence of 31-42 years. He'll be 35 a month from tomorrow; on October 30 it'll be 22 years he's been locked up. Man was on the street for 13 years, been incarcerated for 22. This is a failure and miscarriage of justice at every level.
His current release date is set at 10/1/2042. If he makes that date, he'll be 52 years old, 39 of those years being in prison.
Anybody who thinks this is the way the system should work, especially if you're black (race absolutely matters here), I feel sorry for you.

He's 13, there should be some discipline but the answer shouldn't be throw away the key.
I've mentioned on here numerous times before that my experiences in the criminal "justice" system, which began as an adolescent myself, have given me a unique experience to most people. Throwing him in prison is the worst thing you could do to him, he's 13.We really got dudes in here defending a 13 years old sociopath who rapped an elderly women.
Talking about getting him therapy instead of throwing his lil ass in a prison cell.

Weird comments in here. A child molesting someone means one thing: he's been sexually abused and either doesn't know it's wrong or wants to imitate the behavior. Kids needs counseling and mental health services. And his parents need to be investigated because somebody is or was touching him.
Kid is a sicko. He needs to get some mental help. If after mental counseling, he continues this behavior, then yes, lock him up.
