Simply giving minimum wage nikkas $15 an hour is counter-productive. Companies would just reduce the number of people the would higher, existing employees would do more roles that were previously filled by other workers, the workforce would be more competitive, etc. The highest imo that minimum wage should be is $11.

and he plans on opening a fourth spot this summer. Its very doable imo, if your business model and product is sound

This broadcast made me want to actually visit this restaurant. I think it would be dope to see more places do this.

But, at the end of the day, the restaurant business is one of the riskiest out there, that's why so many fail. Unless you have a massive name for branding, there aren't too many people that actually realize what it takes to run a good restaurant. AND your food actually has to be good.

We won't know the full impact of this Seattle situation until time passes and it stays on the books.

I've actually been there, the food and service were on point and the place was packed. 1.25$ isn't shyt either more places should try this out. People love them on yelp too

They deserve little pay because the shyt they do at McDonalds doesn't require any skill. Most non retarded adults are capable of flipping a burger, lowering fries in grease and tapping buttons on a register. There is no skill involved hence the pay.

So what they deal with nasty attitudes, any job that has daily interaction with the general public will have to deal with unruly behavior sometime regardless of your pay grade. Their job may be more physically demanding than the fat bald white guy but I guarantee you the fat bald white guy's role is more important than their role at McDonalds.
