Before I begin, I own all the consoles, ive always owned all the consoles, and ill also be owning the switch,


1. No Analog Triggers
2. No Ethernet port
3. 32GB internal memory (this is outright stupid)
4. Weak 3rd party support
5. Wont get key titles such as Battlefield, Call of duty
6. Nintendo exclusives alone can't carry a console
7. GOAT worst launch day game lineup
8. Price
9. It does neither portability (2 - 6 hours battery life, 3hours max on AAA titles) or home console (FPS dips and sub 1080p resolutions) very well
10. you need a phone app, to talk to your freiends online. YOU NEED ANOTHER PIECE OF HARDWARE TO TALK ONLINE
11. the games are overpriced in Europe $74.00
12. Biggest games are ports - ZELDA = PORT, MARIO KART = PORT, SPLATOON 2 = could literally be DLC but they put 2 on the name
13. Downloading ONE game such as Zelda takes HALF the storage space
14. They're repeating all the mistakes of the wii U
15. Marketing to a market that doesn't exist, kids don't want a Nintendo in 2017 they want to play minecraft and various other kid games on devices like ipads, phones and pc's.

A can give you one reason. Its a portable version of the Wii U. Same game style and attitude repackaged into another system.

Wii U games are not even that price Nintendo games have always been £40 in the UK retail even going back as far as the Gamecube (not digital which are usually £49.99) so it's safe to assume the price won't change.

Without 3rd party support , it's going to be DOA, also 3rd party exclusives always seem to have a hard time selling on Nintendo consoles. Nintendo should really timed their console releases next to Sony/Microsoft and make sure their hardware ain't so outdated .

I'm still lost on how switch releases many years after Xbox / ps4 and it's still an inferior hardware .

Nintendo is a crook organization. They dont fool me with their high aims with bringing bonding experiences and pg games to the masses. Bottom line, theyre a selfish oganization that cut corners for margin and tried to force the public to accept their product just because of what they did for gaming 20+ years ago. Time and time again the market has told them what they wanted, simple demands, and Nintendos response for the last 15 years has been fukk you. People say they're out of touch--bullshyt. They know exactly what people want and wont give it to them because they dont want to spend the money. Personally i hope they get acquired, but i doubt that happens.

Nintendo is a gaming villain. When they had power they ruled with an iron fist and bullied everyone down the chain with anti-competitive practices. Their hubris is what put them in the position they're in today. They thought they had such control they could dictate where the industry itself wanted to go. I don't know how many of yall remember the N64 Dream Team of developers as Nintendo called it.

Sony stepped in and gave developers and the industry as a whole an alternative and things have never been the same for Nintendo since. Part of me believes that third party developers treat Nintendo the way they do because some of them remember how it was when Nintendo dominated the industry.
