Ghost is back stretch cadillacs!!!
One of the best hip hop albums and hasn't been topped. shyt sounds new and fresh in 2015. One is probably a top 2 ghostface track. :blessed::takedat:
Rza and ghost re-mixed and mastered all the beats so they'd sound more cohesive :gladbron::gladbron: Ghost wrote his Nutmeg verse in Africa with no beats :banderas:
Possibly the best wu-album

:what:
No

Wise is the guy that got killed in Ohio which started a bunch of shyt mentioned in that FBI file.

Kinda curious if this is related to the beef Krayzie Bone spoke about BONE having with Wu. Seems like too big a coincidence not to be.

Wise was the manager of Killarmy, he was murdered in Ohio. The FBI file had a whole sub-section on things Wu-Tang was supposedly tied to, in Ohio. Robbery, gun-running, murders, all kinds of shyt.

Layzie (not Krayzie) Bone did an interview saying Wu had "serious street beef" with BONE, who is from Ohio. He even corrected the interviewer, saying it was a beef in the streets, not some rap shyt.

So what does "no" mean?

My version has those records. I thought the only difference was that the tracklist on the back of the album is messed up

edit: Turns out theres ANOTHER Canadian version with the skits blended in, no The Grain, Buck 50/Stroke of Death/Woodrow The Basehead is one 9 minute track, no switch-up on Child's Play, different beat on Ghost Deini

and this joint

*****

Guess Canada also had the normal version. I bought my copy in 2002 mind you

This is the version I bought originally from Rock N Soul in NY. I didn't realize till a few months later that it was rare. I bought the regular one years later so I could have all the tracks.

I prefer this version. I like the beats on Ghost Deini and Child's Play better and Wise (which is called In The Rain on my CD) is incredible and a better song than The Grain IMO which is the only song missing on that version.

Overall SC is probably a top 5 all time album to me and a toss up between this and OBFCL for best Wu album. Ghost was just on another level on this, all of the guest held there own and it's one of the best produced albums you will ever hear.

I think your connecting two things that don't have anything to do with each other. But you can go ahead with your assumptions.

I said I was "kinda curious" if there was a connection. Same place, same years, a mutual beef. There's no reason to off hand dismiss the possibility.
