well regardless of what you think of him as a solo artist, all you have to do is rap when youre part of a trio.

speaking of other labels, how many albums for each of its artists did death row have?how many albums did murder inc and ruff ryders crank out before tanking? i guess the point is, is bad boy got way more longevity than alot of these rap labels so when youre around for 20 years thats gonna leave alot of room to fuk up in
bad boy's longevity is in the r&b.
they havnt been a major factor in rap since mase & the lox left.

just how "major" is "major" to you? they might not have been on the level of ruff ryders, murder inc, etc but are we gonna act like black rob, shyne and g-dep (no certification but was featured on some semi big hits) didnt happen? not to mention 8ball/mjg, and yung joc for bad boy south later on....and then french montana and mgk for more recent times. all of those might not be that major, but it still points to there definitely being longevity.

these are fine comparisons. bad boy is known and considered as being a rap/hip hop label regardless and despite that it maybe was fueled by r&b. murder inc, a rap label, also was fueled by r&b like you said, and death row also had r&b artists. youre further proving my point. the fact that these labels also had r&b artists shows that it doesnt matter at all and also the fact that these labels couldnt last because of being "taken down" also shows they dont have the same longevity.
youre arguing with an opinion breh. it doesnt matter if they were "c list and b list". thats your personal opinions. the fact (not opinion) that they sold platinum is proof of standing.
but people were, they were all saying how murder inc and these other labels were becoming "bigger/more popular than bad boy".
however these labels couldnt last like bad boy could thus why i said bad boy had the longevity.
