150k in NY is pretty much equivalent to $75k in middle America or abroad.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
This is not true it at all and it's making me mad.

:wtf:

How do you know if it's not true? The average income in some of the countries I'd be in ranges from $6000 to $11,000 a year :russ:

I could post loads of apartments that shyt all over NYC ones for a fraction of the cost, but you clearly aren't trying to hear it. Again, location independence is the holy grail, and before you say it's only 3rd world, that money goes extra far in a place like Lisbon (Portugal).

Imma post some pics later.

I gotta warn u tho. Culturally NC is :flabbynsick: I have been getting way more into old reggae and Ghanaian music and shyt cause theres no variety down here. Everyone is American, its real dry in that regard. I feel like u would hate that. Thats the one thing I legit miss about NYC.

I been to "heartland" America type places, I can adapt quick, especially if I only have to be around them 4-6 months out of the year :blessed:

Depends on how much you want to live in NYC. NYC living is very expensive.
I'd probably choose location independence, especially if I"m making 75k running my own business. Although the NYC job starts off paying more, I could greatly outpace any salary I'd be making up there if my business blew up right..

Nah, you ain't getting out this easy now :ld:

@HookersandIceCream

Please explain to us all why $150,000 in NYC is better than $75,000 in lets say

Medellin, Colombia
Salvador, Brazil
Lisbon, Portugal
San Jose, Costa Rica
Johburg, South Africa
Panama City, Panama
Etc. etc. etc.

All of these places have considerably lower costs of living, with luxury apartments and homes going in the $1000 a month range, nevermind the other costs of living expenses that are considerably cheaper in these places. You come into a thread calling people idiots cause they won't do something the same way as you.

$75K location independant. No brainer.

It allows you to be more flexible, gives you more options, and you have a better quality of life with plenty of disposable income.

And in these 2nd world countries you can live like a king with women, because you are financially and socially above most of their countrymen.

NYC is all smokes and mirrors, its overrated but still x1000 better than most cities in Canada and USA. Although hipster fukks, transplants and gentrification done ruined the vibe there.

There is a reason its mostly women dreaming of it. They want to feel like a high society princess and stan that glamour image of NYC.

In Cartagena, Colombia which is a major tourist spot so if you wanted to buy it you could throw it up on AirBnB. That's 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, with a maid service as well.

If we want to get into straight rentals I can post those as well, either way it's no comparison.

You know how cheap shyt is out there firsthand, now imagine having a location independent job while making $75k a year, you'd be living like upper upper middle class there, basically one step below the rich. But, according to @HookersandIceCream you'd be stupid to do that over living in NYC, I mean who could resist this -
