It's been done before :francis:

Unless I'm beyond blind or there's something I'm missing, this is the exact type of shooting that should result in charges and convictions. There are justified shootings, but when you have obvious wrongful/murderous shootings like this one appears and the officers gets off, that's where the problems continue. The department can't just blindly defend the officer(s) here, but they likely will.

Am I reading this wrong, or are they saying they shot someone THEN got shot by the police? Does this change anything?

EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. —

A shooting in North Braddock led to a traffic stop in East Pittsburgh where witnesses said there was an officer-involved shooting.

Allegheny County officials said they received multiple calls reporting that shots were fired around 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and that a male had been shot in the 800 block of Kirkpatrick Avenue in North Braddock.

Callers reported that a vehicle was seen fleeing the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where his condition wasn't immediately known.

A short time later, county officials said a felony traffic stop on a possible suspect vehicle with three occupants occurred shortly thereafter at Grandview Avenue and Howard Street in East Pittsburgh.

VIDEO:

There was gunfire during the traffic stop with one suspect injured and transported to a local hospital.

That person's condition wasn't immediately known.

The two other occupants of the vehicle fled the scene, officials said. One person was detained and the other person was being sought.

Multiple police agencies are assisting, including PA State Police which is providing a helicopter to assist in the search.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has been requested to assist and will be investigating both incidents.

A witness who says she saw the East Pittsburgh incident unfold from her front porch described a terrifying scene, telling Pittsburgh's Action News 4 she saw police pull over the suspect vehicle and walk up to the car guns drawn.

She says an officer handcuffed the driver, but when the other two passengers were told to get out, they took off running and that's when police opened fire.

it's amazing how big of a p*ssy you have to be to shoot at someone who is running away from you. they aren't posing a single threat, especially not a kid.

We have to stop assuming they see us as human beings. They have zero empathy for us, so flagrant displays of brutality like this are committed against us without a single regret invading their minds. :francis:
