Realistically those names get you discriminated against right away on job applications I just dont like to see black folks cosigning the white supremacist concept of anything we create is ghetto and not up to par.

African American culture started 400 years ago when we were brought here. Every culture had to be creative with names at one point and then they become normal but since our culture is so new anything that sounds "different' is frowned upon.nojust low income hoodrats thinking their being creative. they were better off naming kids after cars

I dont see why we cant do both. A Jamal or Darius is still gonna stick out on a application the same as a Martavius.
