She would be able to sign if her parents consented, which if she is really a bonifide "influencer" seems like that could be the case. But this news was so last week. Yall group chats not poppin 🥲

See that’s the thing she can ask a lawyer if the paper is legal or not.. doesn’t take nothing but 10 mins for a lawyer to verify with a quick consultation and if it’s bullshyt that lawyer would be happy to take her as a client because that’s a huge bag for the lawyer when that shyt is challengers and given her age
Dude- the girl was 16. She ain’t in the frame of mind to be thinking about an attorney. That’s the point of dealing with kids. They don’t know what is going on or how to maneuver. That’s why all the stories come out when these ppl are adults, like all the Disney/Nickelodeon child stars.

That’s the thing. Clearly they consented for her to be in Ice Spice’s video, cus that’s why she was in NYC. What consent would they have signed for her to be around Drake? Unless they really just letting her run wild for the money. Makes me think of Bhad Baby :francis:

Mfs acting like kids don't believe parents when they say they gonna have the cop next door arrest them for not tidying the bedroom.
Lol Exactly why I don’t take people seriously when they discuss this stuff. No one remembers how little they understood about the world or interacting with adults when we were kids?!

I assume industry related business. Like, I was at ye's show rehearsal and I had to sign nda to even get access.

If she signed one she probably thinks she can't say anything about their interaction period or wherever she met him said something to the effect not to disclose info about anybody she sees there and maybe he happened to be there or whatever, and she is playing it up for clicks.

Aint like nikkas is saying "Here's a copy for you to file in your records". If she really signed something, they keeping that paper and immediately discarding that shyt. So at best its going to be she said he said. If it even gets that far. Probably send some hush money before it even gets to court.

These threads, I tell you.

How are we to know what frame of mind she's in? Just because she's 16 says little of her frame of mind. Even if she's not thinking about an attorney. As an influencer, I'm sure she has access to a phone. You could easily pull up credible information in regard to NDA's on the net for free.

NDAs can’t cover illegal behavior
Here's the thing, depending state laws it can be legal with consent. Thats why these minor attracted people can move with conviction like this, and if the parents are involved it makes it even more sticky.

What 16 YO is thinking about that? That’s the point. You’re just excited to be included.

16 year olds that are influencers. These are 16 year olds that are seeing money for content they create on social media. They are in the spheres with celebrities and even billionaires and other people of influence. She is like a fraction of the percentage of 16 years olds. This isn't a typical 16 year old.

No.

A 16 year old’s BUSINESS MANAGER thinks about that shyt. Not a 16YO who got popular on Tiktok when she was 14 :deadrose:

Beyoncé was light years ahead of her at 16 and she didn’t manage shyt on her own. That was all Matthew Knowles, and he wasn’t pushed out until she was past 30.

Stop adultifying kids.

This isn’t some 16YO who is focused and has a skill or talent that has been honed from childhood. This is a girl who prances around in skimpy outfits from the age of 14 on social media. NO- she is NOT thinking about legal issues.

And this thread should have ended with "NDA's are not legally binding". Having someone sign something that isn't legally binding is a huge gamble because you're banking on someone being gullible and naive enough to do it.

This has nothing to do with management.

Nobody's adultifiying kids. Ya'll in here making up stupid scenarios as if "all 16 year olds" think the same or even on the same level. Life doesn't work like that at all. You can't compare an influencer to your average 16 year old especially one that's been exposed to Hollywood.

We don't know her like that to make a judgment either way.
