i used to be shook of this shyt as a youngin

I always wanted a Death Row necklace when I was young; but my mom said no, because she saw the picture of a man in an electric chair lol.
You're from LA right? What was it like growing up there during the Death Row era?
Wow, you met Quik and Suga Free? Dope. Are you from South Central? I've heard about 92.3, Barbary Coast, and all of that. Barbary Coast is in Gardena if I'm not mistaken?Yeah I'm from LA. The death row era was the best era in music; because there whole line up was good. Everybody had something to bring to the table. When I was a kid; we had a radio station called 92.3 The Beat and they played all the the death row songs and more; Death Row had shyt on lock, especially when it came down to the east vs west shyt. The also had LA on lock; because they brought the crip and blood/pirus together. My dad
bought me the cassette tape for snoop dogg doggystyle when I was a kid; my mom was mad.
Rap was better back then; especially the award shows and beef. It was real beef not likr this shyt today; you would get beat the fukk up. Even back then dudes in death row was not hard 24/7 they joked around a lot, not like catz today with that fake 24/7 I'm hard shyt. Because of my uncle I use to run into Dj Quik; dudes was funny as hell, later on when I got older I would run into him and Suga Free at the strip club called the Babery Coast with my uncle.
